Our Trip To Shantytown

On Wednesday the 23rd of June we went to Shanty Town. We went into a old classroom and got changed into  old fashion clothes and we were pretending that we were in 1886. We were in table groups and each table group was given a sheet and there we different category and we were given building and construction. We had to put people that helped build stuff and we had to put as much as we could. The next thing we did was take photos around Shanty town of us pretending to build thing for example I was pretending to hammer a nail in a building.

The next thing we did was go on the train and go gold panning I got quite a bit for how much was in there.

The next activity we did was we had to pack a pack with tarpaulin what we had to fit in the bag was gold pans tools a little shovel and a big shovel and tie it together with strings and when we though we were finished Miss Barba had to shake it and if it didn't fall apart yo had to wait and we had 10 mins to do so and my team was the only who finished on time. Then we set off in our cars back home.

My favourite part of the day was going gold panning.
